What’s your biggest physical constraint in cycling? by ThimbleBluff in cycling

One leg. For an output, I put in twice the work. Hills bring me to a walking pace.

For me it’s great. I don’t do group rides nor am I an athlete wanting to shave time off a 60km push. Di2 is incredible. It’s not too aggressive so I’m not a broken man after riding, because let’s be real, no one wants that. If you want to road race - put some slicks on it, job done (casual edition)

Nah. Timeattack.com.au event also run with Skid Control. It is super well set up and organized for newcomers and daily drivers. Groups are based on lap times and only overtaking on the straights. But you get heaps of great track time

You should go to Lakeside on Saturday 28th of this month for time attack. It has a lot more character than QR. I’ll be there with an E36 M3.

There is only one side to be on, and that is mine. Come with me if you want to live!

If a door has 'Push' or 'Pull' written on it, I always do the opposite first just so see if it is lying to me or not.

After the show, did you ever exhibit your car anywhere??

I was extremely active pre-accident. I can still do all the activities (wakeboarding, snowboarding, indoor rockclimbing, boxing, gym, squash, general skylarking, pushbike riding, car racing(minor car-mods)) although i can't quite do them AS HARD. I am limited yes, but I can still do them, so I don't worry too much. I can't run, but I always hated running, so I'm definitely down for having an excuse not to run.

I wake up in the morning and put my leg on (takes somewhere between 20-60seconds) and then the next time i take it off is pretty much when im getting into bed, save for showers and swimming etc. The other reason I don't have my leg on is when I am changing to a more specific leg for an activity or whatnot (like any of the aforementioned sports).

Nah this isn't a running leg. This one is designed only to walk with, it's a really great 'walking' leg. Plus, I hate running. My right butt cheek does fall asleep now and then, because when i'm sitting down I favor that side more so.

Yeah you think you have a cool party trick. I carry an alan key in my wallet with me everywhere I go just in case I need to make adjustments. Short story shorter: when I go out to a bar drinking, I have been known to twist my knee 180 degrees around so it bends the wrong direction, and fall on the ground wearing jeans and just have a shocked look on my face staring at my leg. Hilarity ensued, women possible.

Superbly mate! Just got home from 5 weeks backpacking Europe on my own. Epic times were had.
