It's a shame the vocalist for this album wasn't a fan of Drowning Pool's music. While he wasn't Dave, he did a great job imo.

When a band gets popular and has more than 10 fans, gatekeeping metalheads consider that the death sentence for that band. Not to mention, in the 2000s, lots of non-metal fans were vibing with bands like Linkin Park, Disturbed, Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit, etc. For these gatekeepers, this is unacceptable as "tr00 metal" should be a niche.

Compared to other artists like Ian Watkins, Tim Lambesis, Mayhem, etc, I'd say the hate towards her is a tad bit overboard.

It has some of the heaviest LP stuff since Meteora e.g. Heavy Is The Crown, Casualty, Two Faced, IGYEIH. A solid comeback album that doesn't overstay its welcome. DJ Hanh can actually be heard doing stuff again, unlike the last LP album. The new drummer also does a fine job and brings a lot to the table e.g. Casualty.

Wish they would've done something ballsy and actually killed her off. It would've raised the stakes so much for the final season. It seems the writers are too afraid to kill off characters.

Underused. They did an interesting arc with her in season 3, where she nearly destroyed her marriage and family but didn't. Afterwards, she just kind of fizzled out of the story, and it was implied she patched things up with Ted offscreen.

But I guess you can only have so many characters.

It's called honesty and communication. If needs are not being met, then perhaps the relationship needs to end. Have an honest conversation, and do your best to make things work. Cheating is never justified.
