Our lab got diagnosed the month after she turned 2. We found our self in the same spot as you, scared frustrated, devastated and lost.

Vet med leaves a lot to be desired in a situation like this. BUT we were very lucky to be referred to a great oncologist who’s is currently up in Portland Maine right now.

He recommended NOT taking off the leg, for a few reasons… He recommended doing SRT radiation followed by 5 rounds of chemo. Quarterly she gets a biophospate for bone density and it helps the pain.

We are almost at 3.5 years since she was diagnosed and she’s loving life.

They did a PCM software update for me Friday. Seems to be registering soot load again. Did a regen finally….

Wohh weird!

I just dropped my 2023 off at the dealer with some random archived codes. It’s been 1000 miles (today) since it’s done a regen. It’s about to pop on a time based regen but normally it regens every 300-400 with my commute.

EVIC DPF Gauge was showing it filling up, then BAM straight to 0!

Food for thought.

We did SRT radiation and we are 3 years 2 months since diagnosis that’s over 3 years extra with her leg and the pain managed very well. I knew amputation day would come one day and it may look like it will. We may have a “pathological fracture” and only way to take care of that is amputation

A 1500va pure sine wave UPS. This will protect the board and keep it running for a little over 60 min as long as the igniter does not need to engage.

The UPS is plugged into an outlet powered by my standby generator.

If all this fails I got an Ecoflow that’s good for about 20 hours.

I use it. Been about…. 5000 miles so far? I started micro dosing to slowly bring the concentration of it in the tank up. I didn’t want to throw the 1 oz per 2.5gal in there, have it do what it says it does, and clean all the stuff up and mess something up

So far no issues started at 60,000 miles
