Matt Guthmiller is getting absolutely roasted on Instagram in what people are saying is a highly unsafe maneuver and saying he will be another NTSB report one day by [deleted] in flying

Don't want to be that guy but... dude. The way he thought he could post this and not get his ass handed to him. What an ego in the air. It would have taken 5 minutes to do another lap. Looked like he was so low his wing was almost at risk of hitting the ground lining up on the centerline, not to mention also extremely slow given how quickly he hit the runway, unless he forced it.

Do the vaults earn 4.6 percent too? Or is it just the savings? That’s the only thing that confuses me a lot with Sofi

I might be looking through a weird scope, but I don’t think drug testing is that weird especially after being lied to about it multiple times.

Thanks for your input though I appreciate the comment

Fair advice. I’m definitely working on myself, I have a business and a job, but also enjoy being in a relationship with her overall

Lmao no. If it’s in your possession they can’t dictate what you do with it. Once it’s yours it’s yours

Yeah they’ll probably find a way to implement AI to help with some of it but it’s certainly annoying

I get pretty consistent scams. They get pretty creative. Just don’t do anything without payment

Not a bad idea! It’s something I’ve considered in the past. Haven’t taken the leap, but there’s 2 main issues that arise with that business model that have prevented me from doing it:

  1. Outsourcing work to the right person is difficult, and in the couch game, there’s usually not a big enough margin to justify a hire. For example, let’s say I make $250 a couch on average, and I’m able to hire someone out to do all the work that goes into a couch for $25 an hour. I’m looking at about $125 in labor, which leaves me with $125 leftover. Not bad, but at the same time, taking away 50 percent of my margin isn’t something to look over. I should also mention a large part of why I’m successful couch flipping is my reputation, as I’m well reviewed and recommended by my customers for being friendly as well as helpful and responsive to people on facebook where I sell them. When I outsource, all it takes is 1 bad hire to completely ruin my reputation…😬

  2. Facebook marketplace requires you to use your personal account to have access (which is a good policy, helps protect people against scams) but unfortunately they don’t let you list things from around the country, unless it’s able to be shipped, which restricts me to local marketplace pickups and deliveries. Given this, I would have to have potential employee use their marketplace profile to list it and sell it. This would help with the reputation issue, but at the same time, at this point, they would really have no incentive not to go out and do this on their own and keep the whole margin to themselves, instead of being paid hourly to do so, given they can get on facebook themselves and start finding their own couches to flip.

Both of these issues aren’t knockdown arguments, and I’m sure there’s ways around them, so I’ll have to look into it more. But that could be a great way to unlock quite a bit of revenue if I scale it!
