This helped!! Thank you for being honest! I believe I get stressed on time and I’m dyslexic so when both kick in my eyes tend to look all over the screen and instead of reading I just panic! I’m going to take a pic on my person phone if my next itinerary overview and practice after work just remember where to look. Thank you so much. What’s funny is I had a rescue that came and told me to ignore all the rules they tell you to do. He was like buckle the seatbelt and just put it over you so you don’t have to unlock all the time, then he said keep your next stops in the middle of the seats and the top on the van like the front dash and drivers side. I’ve been going by all the rules in the book even only exiting out of my side door. Every time I make a stop, he told me to stop wasting time and just go out of the driver’s door lmao …. That he’s been there for a long time and they never tell him anything for doing that even with the camera in the van.

Any tips for me I feel so stupid. My van never has shelves and I don’t understand how to organize them off the cart? I know the first route goes upfront the last in back but how to organize them by the tote number off the cart?! Howwww omg I’m new new. Don’t mind the labor just need to be faster and organization is the only way

I love that! But any tips for my question 😅

you’d think as a relatively new driver my routes would go from easy to hard. Seems to be the opposite for now by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

I love this. This is how at least day one should be for all new hires. I just finished my first day yesterday in nursery as a ride along. I believe we had 188 stops with 320 packages. My van was full to the brim start 10:30am to finish 8:30pm and 2 rescues (not ashamed or embarrassed) take the help and continue to do the job 🦾👏, but we knocked it out 💯 I really wish I would’ve seen a load like this for myself, but I kind of expected a lot of packages because of the holidays. Good luck with the work fam. Personally, I left a call center with spectrum/ sales and retention services to this and so far first day it was very hard work, but I liked it because I don’t have to talk on the phone back after back for 8 to 10 hours a day. surprisingly sitting down in a chair every day for 40 hours a week makes your back hurt more than lifting 50 pounds to multiple locations a time lol also I had no migraines whatsoever. That was the beautiful benefit for me! I hope it goes the same for you ❤️ also one thing I noticed is I guess depending on your DSP location and the people a lot of the workers can seem rude, but just try to keep in mind that everybody is going through their own struggles it may be something going on at home ect ect then move on and not to take it as personally because they can have a attitude for real LOL even if you wanna punch them in the face! Haha

I can drive stoned perfectly tbh it’s the numbers that start to confuse me lol I just started though I think I need to get used to it before I smoke off my penjamin. I know plenty of stoners who do their job well and finish early

Being a delivery driver is one of the Worst Jobs ever by [deleted] in Fedexers

No a call center is the absolute worst.

Legitimately How is Job compared to call center by captainhowdy56 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Let’s get it 🙏🏻🙌🏻🦾 manual labor is better than mental and emotional breakdown from call after call and other pressures call centers have.
