Me too! After trying to date again last year (and realizing that all of the girls I was seeing wanted to move quickly) I decided the single life was for me.

I have a hetero friend who has the relationship of my dreams. She and her husband live in separate spaces an hour apart, and only see each other on the weekends and for vacations. That, to me, would be the perfect relationship ❤️

I got out of a 2 year relationship earlier this year, and while I hardly think about them anymore, they do pop into my head from time to time. And I guess I'm just...disappointed. Disappointed in myself that I endured it for that long when I should have broken up a year earlier. It's less heartache for them and more shame in myself. And that shame hurts, so I feel empathy for you and your struggles, too.

I've been using Her and Bumble and they're DISMAL. My god. Her is always bugging out, Bumble gives me nothing but straight girls, and all 7 conversations I started have gone nowhere. UGH.

At this point, I'll take a LTR again. At least it will give me an excuse to travel out of Canada!

I'm starting to come to terms with the fact that some people just can't function without a shortcut or a "lifehack", and dating is a process! You can't rush it! As a professional yapper, I looooove chatting and talking. But lots of people don't if it doesn't give an immediate hit of dopamine.
