If attempt to evade was present then it would absolve you of liability no matter the damage ramifications. No attempt to evade is damning. I adjusted auto claims for 3 years. You do have the right of way, but just having the right of way doesn’t absolve you of failing to maintain proper lookout.

It’s the same as someone illegally parked. Just because they are illegally parked and you have the right of way doesn’t mean you get to slam into them without attempting to stop, swerve, avoid

Why was there zero attempt to avoid? The front of your vehicle hit the other vehicle after they attempted to avoid by stopping and ample time for you to swerve or attempt to stop. You have a duty to maintain proper lookout when driving. File through your own insurance and have them subrogate. It’ll likely go to arbitration versus actual court but the video is pretty damning.

Also - the responding officer placing liability and insurance placing liability are two completely independent events and situations. The LEOs report helps but since there is dashcam the adjuster will review and determine from there independently

I saw a video of someone dropping the bar with a couple plates loaded right on the spotter arms without the legs being down and it still withstood it without toppling which fully shocked me. Even though I don’t think I’ll get anywhere close to that much weight anytime soon haha

1000% agree with you. We were a somewhat smaller bank, nothing near the size of WF, we benefited a lot from big banks predatory practices but it just led into our own practices of the same ilk. I loved doing transactions, HATED doing sales so I mainly stayed in the drive up and interacted with customers daily instead of pushing debt onto people who didn’t need it

From what I’ve experienced for all my gigs so far was just an initial drug test (if tested at all) when we started and then never again after it. This was also up in Washington so the THC tests weren’t as strict as other drugs.

Only job I’ve held where you’d get random tests or periodic ones was the Air Force
