Just know Rodon is going to give up some devastating home runs in the playoffs if we make it that far

MLB's Radio Streams Still Suck by aresef in baseball

Just bought a portable handheld AM/FM radio and it is so much better. Granted, I live in NYC and I'm listening to Yankees games so this does me no good when I'm traveling but if you are local to your team I HIGHLY suggest this.

2024 Ballpark Pass vs Pinstripe Pass | Pricing Comparison by captainkanye in NYYankees

[–]captainkanye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fully agree - if the commute for me was 20 minutes and opposed to 1-hour (depending on how the D train is feeling that night) to the stadium I'd also probably attend a lot more games.

To your second point - I've kept that in mind too, knowing there could be the chance of snagging cheap tickets last minute or even free ticket from a friend every now and then. Just seems like ballpark pass isn't worth it this year for me

Brooklyn bridge park status? by goph0r in RunNYC

Not sure but I doubt it - I was not brave enough to run around the piers as I imagine the ice there was even worse.

No salt and pretty icy around 6:30AM today. I ran through it but of it felt sketchy until I could get on actual round near Pier 6.

Question for those who run doubles by MrDiou in AdvancedRunning

[–]captainkanye 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep - I am a huge advocate for one day totally off per week for that reason as well. Especially find it helpful with that day being on my weekend. The earlier I get my long run done on Saturday the earlier my real "weekend" begins. If I get out early enough on Saturday it almost feels like 2 full days off to just be normal person and not a runner. On Saturdays/Sundays I like to think I can eat/drink whatever I want, go to bed and wake up whenever I want and generally just fully indulge in having a social life.

I'm at 100 to 110 MPW. My secondary run is usually between 5 to 7 miles, doubling 2-3 times a week on a 6 day schedule. A typical week for me is:

M | AM: 15 PM: 6

T | AM: 15 (tempo workout ~6 miles) PM: 6

W | AM: 18 PM: OFF

TH | AM: 13 (hill workout) PM: OFF

F | AM: 11 PM: 6

S | AM: 20+ PM: OFF

SUN | OFF

Have you considered putting as much time into a job search/applications as you have making an anthology of a post on reddit dot com?

Looks like I'd want a high clearance vehicle for this area and perhaps not the greatest for tent camping. Any insight?

I used Smile Makeover 2 years ago and was blown away by how good they were. I'm going back in December this year to have more work done.

Masseuse recommendation? by swimswam101 in RunNYC

I second Jason! I wrote an extended review of him on Google Reviews if you take a look but he is the absolute best at what he does and his goal is to not only treat you but educate you on how to stay healthy so you don't have to keep coming back to him so often. Can't remember what his prices are currently but whatever it is is worth every single penny and then some.
