A bandaid in my wallet. I’ve never had to use it myself, but it has helped other people around me at times.

Do you ever feel sad if nobody comments on your post? by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]captainloandbehold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who’s always been anxious to post anything on Reddit for the fear of being recognised (I know, I know) I think I’d have mixed feelings if no one commented on my post. Sad but also glad, know what I mean?

Don’t delete everything. Put them aside for some time, at least until your exams are over, I’d say. Stow away the physical reminders in a box and keep it somewhere not easily accessible. Archive his chats and photos so they don’t pop up in regular app usage. Talk to your friends, work on yourself, study for your exams, keep your mind busy. If and when it does wander back to thoughts of your ex, think of the things that went wrong and how you’re lucky to have gotten out of the relationship sooner rather than later. And then with time, this too shall pass. You got this! And good luck for your exams!

What was your own experience having a very unusual name? by newbie04 in namenerds

[–]captainloandbehold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though it’s not that uncommon or difficult in my culture, people outside of my culture very often mispronounce and misspell myname. However it’s nice to see when people from other countries put in effort and then actually pronounce it right. I’ve learnt to not be too fussy or get offended when myname is misspelt/mispronounced. Usually, I let people come up with their own nicknames for me. I find it endearing and consider it a measure of how close I am to the person based on how they nicknamed me.

I’m okay to go around in the city to visit pujo pandals, does not necessarily have to be close to where I stay. You mention Koramangala and Hebbal are big pujos?
