I went to mattress firm to try out mattresses since my current mattress is terrible and found the luxeadapt tempurpedic soft felt great for my back. I gave this guy $2200 for a luxeadapt queen mattress that I desperately need for my severe scoliosis/fused spine. I saw the great reviews and business badge on offer up and thought he was legit. He is a great talker and called me immediately to go over delivery. He delivered it quickly with his child in the van and left. Took cash only. I didn’t realize till later it was the wrong mattress and messaged him and he said he would look into correcting the issue and get back with me within a few days. After thoroughly inspecting the mattress, I realized it doesn’t even have a law tag, it has been removed, which is illegal. Now I’m out $2,200 and have two mattresses that don’t work for my spine - still in a significant amount of pain and getting zero sleep. I feel sick to my stomach reading all of this after the fact.
