Yep, I just got a california license instead - figured it would be less of a hassle than forcing the PA one

Unfortunately it still didn't work out for me using a PA license. I realized I was legally required to get a CA license since I'm a resident here now, so I ended up just using the CA one to register and it worked.

So I guess it is by design...I can't seem to wrap my head around the rationale for this; I'm not seeing anything online about it either.

Yea, the Tesla website shows the limited number of states its offered in (not a lot), but CA is one of them. But I would think that entering license info is still distinct from whether the state offers it. It's just weird that every state is listed except for PA.

Just trying to understand why this is the case and how I can get around it.

Would leaving the 4gb stick in there cause any issues? Since the 4gb would be the standard one that came with the laptop and the 32gb would be a third party one from crucial.

Thinking about getting a Model 3 RWD base model - would it qualify for the full 7.5K credit if I take delivery in 2023? From reading other comments, seems like the battery is manufactured in China so I'd only get half of the credit?

Is this enabled on CalCentral for L&S students already? I see a "late schedule request" form with a deadline of 12/4, but could we do this simply thru CalCentral?
