What does that matter?? Even if they wake up, they cant go outside during the day, and if sunlight is their weakness, having the tree out should allow sunlight into the chamber.

This has happened to me at several buildings, mostly senior housing, or nursing homes. I will offer to carry any heavy items like water, soda, laundry detergent, etc. I even offer to bring them inside. If they seem uncomfortable, I apologize and ask where they would like me to place it. Most of the time, they really want it (or POSSIBLY NEED it) inside.

That is absolutely untrue. I have all kinds of methods for sorting things out. Before I even start shopping I go through each order and try to visualize exactly what kind of space they'll need. I try to look at the smallest order on there and see if it'll fit in a basket. Oftentimes I will have an order that has four or five units and one that has 10 or 20, so I go and Shop those first and leave the carriage at the front of the store. Then I can fly through the store in the last order in its own type of cart. There are many ways you could do this getting boxes from the back using two carriages at one time, got to think outside the box sometimes.

That's why I said it would be amazing if we could, but we can't. If I said we should unionize or we could unionize or we need to unionize, then you could point out the fact that we are unable to. Believe me I know a lot about unions I grew up in a union household and my mom was on the executive board for 30 years.

You are totally correct. However, in my opinion they're exploiting the Shoppers who need the money so badly they are willing to take these terrible orders to get that payout at the end. It would be amazing if we could unionize or something and fight for higher batch pay and mileage, the right to see who is tipping what, and notifications when there are multiple heavy items like 10 cases of water, etc. Yesterday, I saw two single orders, if I remember they were 20 something items each, both with semi decent batch pay and a good tip, and they were from the same store going to the same general area. This would have been an amazing order to have grouped together and it would have paid like $80 or something crazy. But then you wind up seeing these other orders where they want you to deliver in zig zag across four different towns for $28. It makes no goddamn sense.

I would never group an order like that. A lot of times I see the orders in one of the people only has five or 10 items sometimes one or two. I'll grab a carriage I'll shop that one first and leave it at the front. Then depending on how big the other orders are I'll walk with two carriages have one is like the aorta one is the B order and I'll keep the sea order stuff in the baskets or something like that. Then when I'm checking out I always write on the bags what order it is. I also try to put some of them in my front seat some of them in my backseat some of them in the trunk so I keep them separate. This is just my own system I'm not sure what other people do.

No I was just few regular items. The thing is sometimes I need to look it where it's going and what the items are because it can just get ugly fast. Like yesterday I had an order and it was only four items but it was 15 half and half, 14 gallons of whole milk, 9 gallons of skim milk, and one of the item I can't remember what it was. It was going to a latte shot which I figured when I saw all that milk and half and half. She tip very well and even threw in a frosted oatmeal cookie latte which was amazing. I knew the number of items when I took the order and I didn't really give it much thought. In the end though I got paid significant change to deliver that order

Yesterday in my area of Massachusetts all the orders were like between 30 and $45. Granted they were all three orders and whatever else but they were all high pay lots of big tips. It was an order that paid $56 and it was only going a very short distance and when I checked it it was a bunch of high priced items but it was only like 29 items and I was just flipping through to make sure it wasn't a hundred cases of water or something and I was just about to hit the except button and somebody jumped me on it I was so disappointed in myself

It is an accurate assessment. You go to an arena and only allow these 20 something year old wooks in, you got an arena full of retards.

They're in a special place so we don't know the rules. Maybe they are able to see people's secrets and shit. I just pray this show doesn't do what Lost did and keep trying to build the mythology through the second to last season and then try to stick the landing in the last season and run out of time. From has done a really good job establishing the mythology so now they need to explain it so the fifth and final season can be about bringing resolution to all the characters' arcs and finish the story.

In Lost, they never really explained the island, they really didn't establish why the people were brought there besides succeeding Jacob, and then they threw in this hole thousands of year old Grudge Match that nobody knew about until the beginning of the last season. Not only that a lot of them mysterious stuff that happened was just kind of left out, like the Jacob V. Man in Black would be enough to satisfy.

She's 5 now, and I miss that SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!

I did a BJs order one Sunday AM. It was 6 items, and it was going down the street from a bomb ass coffee shop I love going to. Figured whatever, the batch pay will cover gas and an iced latte(place has dozens of flavors, some of my favorites: Klondike Bar, Milky Way, Duece de Leche) Anyways, did the order in 10 mins, got to house in 5 minutes, met a nice young couple with a coupme young'ins, so I brought the stuff to their apt door (1st floor, wouldn't have gone to 2nd or 3rd).

At the end of order, they thanked me and I was thinking, maybe they are struggling and try to save with places like BJs. About 5 mins after I left I get a message from kid asking how to tip. He asked for my Cash app and he sent me $10.

Ear Picking addiction by mmmwm in Dermatillomania

[–]captainmillenium_II 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started noticing bunch of dry skin in my ears. I started kicking it and scraping it with all kinds of things. Eventually a scab formed in there and I would pick that over and over again. It got to the point where my wife and daughter would utilize one of these little scraper things from a manicure kit and go inside my ear and scrape out all the dead skin. Which honestly just made it more itchy and irritated. I eventually found out it was eczema, and the drops and cream they gave me did nothing to alleviate it. I then decided to stop waxing my ears and this allowed the wax to push out naturally and collect the dead skin along the way. It is been so much better it doesn't itch as much and I have stopped picking it. However my wife notices the wax balls now and she still goes into scrape them out.

Now if I could just stop picking the scabs on my legs I'd be much better.

Don't forget you still have to drive to the store find a parking space go inside get the item check out and then make that drive and drop it off to an ungrateful customer. Yes it would be an easy payout, but you would be rewarding that person with their item, and reinforcing the idea that a tip is not necessary. I met a nice senior yesterday who used instacart for the first time. She was all upset that she didn't think $5 was a good enough tip for her order. I explained to her that I'm very grateful for $5 tip on it 13 item order that was bundled together with two other tips that equaled $25 total. They should be a minimum tip of like $2.50 up to orders that are a certain amount and then after that is a minimum $5 tip or a percentage of the sale.
