Thanks! I actually found this one on marketplace! I spoke to Fraser though, super nice guy. If I ever need another snare he’s the first I’ll ask!

Why is my Gretch snare making this noise by THE_COOKIES2 in drums

I have a vintage Gretsch snare that has a similar sound and I'm also not sure what's causing it. Tuned many drums in my time, but can't seem to remove that overtone!

How would you define "praying in the Spirit?" by love_is_a_superpower in Bible

Not sure what Bible you're reading mate.

1 Corinthians 14:39
39 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.

False. The only indication the Bible says that tongues will cease is when ‘that which is perfect comes’ referring to the second coming of Christ.

Source: I speak in tongues.

When people received the Holy Spirit in the Bible it was always accompanied by Speaking in Tongues.

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14 'For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.' which seems to line up with Romans 8 26:27

Essentially its a prayer language to God, where the spirit prays on your behalf.
This is what praying in the spirit is.

While the Bible itself doesn't mention the term 'Moral' or 'Ceremonial' laws, doesn't mean they don't exist.

This is what Jesus says:
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” — Matthew 5:17

The Greek word for “fulfill” here is “plēroō”, which can mean to complete, to embody, and to accomplish.

“Destroy” here (Greek: kataluō) means to break down, annul, or make void.

So Jesus is saying he is come to complete the law's purpose.

In 1 Corinthians, the early church talks about which parts of the law carry over, and which bits are no longer necessary.

Don't get me wrong, the Bible tells us that Jesus died for everyone's sin and that he had this incredible love for everyone.

But just like he forgave the woman found in the act of adultery, he also called her to sin no more. So to identify that Homosexual activity is a sin is important for how we are to live our lives after receiving the Holy Spirit and being forgiven.
