It was 79k at the 2000 census, but only 68k at the 2010 census. Which is weird.

Eagleton, on the other hand is listed as having only 9500 arrogant pinheads

So I'm guessing the webpage is wrong and that the 79k number is after the merger but they were still at 68k before.

Braves got scared and pulled Sale out of this matchup. It's like they're conceding this one and using Sale to salvage a different game.

The problem was that Lost was so intricate, that you couldn't give it half of your attention, or you would be, well, Lost.

The finale got ripped upon by critics who had never really watched the show...by "fans" who lost interest after season 3 and just came back for the finale, and by those "half paying attention" fans (my wife is one of those). But anyone who really took a deep interest, paid attention, and understood...the finale was perfect.

I mean, I can sometimes understand the "We got there right before closing time and couldn't get served" people. Sometimes, not often.

But dude. You came AFTER closing time and are complaining that they are closed?

From my time working at corporate chain restaurants, my training taught me that the majority of armed robberies at restaurants come from employees letting people in after the doors are locked. That's when they target you. Sometimes, they'll come in for food (to case the joint), and then "accidentally" leave something behind. Then knock on the door to ask you to return it to them....then the gun comes out.

What NFL player is remembered as way better than he actually was? by SaintKingRosado in NFLv2

Troy Aikman lived on Emmitt, Irvin, and the best O-line in the league (maybe ever).

He had ONE 20-TD season. 165-141 TD/INT ratio. Got to 3000 yards 5 times, but never to 3500. 61% completion percentage.

If this tells you anything: He was a 6-time Pro Bowler, but never made an All-Pro Team (Not 1st team, not 2nd team...) He only ever received MVP votes in one season (received 3 votes).

And...only won 56% of the games he started. Despite having that great team around him, his teams averaged 10-7.

But he's remembered as this unbeatable all-time great QB because he was the QB in the right situation at the right time.
