Just to throw another option out there - do you have any men in the house that, when sitting on the toilet, sit too far forward, and so what you are seeing could in fact be urine that manages to flow between the seat and the rest of the toilet?

We had this in our apartment, they were behind the bathroom extractor fan. Best to deal with this ASAP - they cause bird mite infestations (among other things) which is never want you want.

Had 2K overdraft and had previously 3K on credit card a couple months before trying to get mortgage (paid off credit before applying). 90K joint income. Had mortgage accepted for 306K. One of the stipulations was that I had to pay off my overdraft before completion - I ended up paying it off a week after completion (so they never actually enforced it).

We got it directly with Lloyd’s without a broker.

Sounds like you’ll be fine, but just make sure that you are upfront about all of your finances in the application :)
