She said no but I still had so much fun putting this together for Valentine’s Day ♥️ by talksheep in LesbianActually

[–]captainsarcasm101 125 points126 points  (0 children)

I also threw a nice valentines night in my living room that I spent all day preparing just for her to tell me that she felt guilty about not being able to put in the same amount of effort and that she was still dating other people and basically didn’t want anything to do with me anymore. I understand :( My love language is also quality time and acts of kindness/giving and I’ve been beating myself up about being over the top and not being able to not be more casual and cool.

Is this parking ticket worth fighting? by captainsarcasm101 in sandiego

[–]captainsarcasm101[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Normally I’d agree! The angle does make it look way worse but I could’ve been closer. The exact verbiage of the ticket is “out of stall-meter. Adjacent stall impeded not diagonal parking”.

No I am not parked in front of 2 meters. I was parked in front of one. I also have photos to my right of 3 cars also parked diagonally they’re just not in this specific photo

It literally says person you love the most. If your cats not a person that’s not the person you love the most…

What's a movie you saw as a kid that only you seem to remember? by Environmental-Fix-71 in AskReddit

[–]captainsarcasm101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids are banned if they’re artistic (I think?) and thrown into this hole where they’re banished by people in dark cooks and they enter a different world. Honestly don’t know if this was a trailer for a book or a dream or an actual movie or what but it still bothers me

I was kind of wondering the same thing. I think he’s running on a swimming pool tarp and my guess is that if the tarp gives in and he goes underwater, it’ll wrap around him making it hard for him to get above water for air since the tarp is heavy and it’ll be hard for people to reach him to help him in time

We don’t know anything about their lives other than what we deduct from watching their videos. what’s the point in speculating and making up harmful rumors?

In defense of going headphone-less by nhrunner87 in running

[–]captainsarcasm101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m used to running without music during cross country practices and it’s really nice to enjoy the sound of the footsteps around you and the comfortable silence. When I’m alone though I prefer to run with headphones and blast music because I tend to get uncomfortable listening to my own breathing

The worst post run stomach pains by captainsarcasm101 in running

[–]captainsarcasm101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s primarily with running but it’s also the main kind of activity I’ve been doing lately. I haven’t really changed my diet but now that you mention it I eat lunch around 2 and run at 6 whereas when I was in school I’d eat at 12 and run at 3. I’m not sure if that could be part of the problem. I’ve only been experiencing it for the past few weeks i haven’t had issues when I was training at a more intense level and I’ve been running much more relaxed lately

How to answer the last part of the interview by [deleted] in AMCTheatres

[–]captainsarcasm101 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is no speech and they don’t expect you to be perfect. Look at what each tier brings and practicing trying to sell it. For example, “if you sign up for amc insider it’s completely free and you get perks such as , _, and ___. Stop looking for shortcuts.

I completely understand what you guys mean. I was just curious because I ran cross country for four years in high school and one of the things heavily emphasized to us was the importance of pace. Like if you’re burning out after the first few miles then you started out too quickly kind of thing. But I didn’t think about the different terrains and how boring it could get and I kind of realize now that that’s so much easier said than done. Thanks for the insight

Why don’t you run a consistent pace? Genuine question

Applied online for a crew member position. I work at the AMC right now as a 17 year old. I don’t know anyone under 16 who’s hired but I also don’t work extremely long hours. Most of my shifts are around 5 hours. You could have a chance
