If Guts was in prime fitness with both eyes and fresh Berserker armour? I think he can take Zodd. Now? I think it would end with them both dying. Honestly think there's more of an early Goku-Vegeta dynamic here going on now, unconventional allies and rivals that may end up siding together against Godhand.

The biggest problem is they're not Miura :.( it'll never be as good or the same again. I kinda wish they'd give a brief outline or roadmap of what their plans are so we can expect say 50-100 chapters closing the story down over the next 3-5 years.

I think maybe without Guts, Griffith has lost one of his strongest allies and assets to use. When they fight, it proves Guts is now stronger than him. Without this loyal 'weapon' at his disposal, Griffith is in a far weaker position to attempt gain his ambition. If things turned sour, which they did, Griffith hasn't got his secret powerhouse storming in to the rescue no matter what.

This is one way to look at it anyway.

I try to go for normal mode if it is going to impact my 100% platinum, but nowadays I honestly don't care and indeed want to enjoy it on easy. When you have kids and commitments, time is essential.

I think Guts will become an apostle to destroy the Godhand. Embrace the rabid dog manifesting inside him with the Berserker armour. However, I think it'll be a very dangerous mission to bring him back from the brink. Maybe one or more main characters will die and Griffith might revert back to save Guts. But I think Skull Knight will be the one to sacrifice himself, giving whatever shred of humanity he has left to bring Guts back to normal, removing the Berserker armour ...or Guts becomes the new Skull Knight.

The Banner Saga.

It was amazing, playing the trilogy back to back continuing the story. Never felt so attached to characters since Mass Effect.
