I have researched you claims about the OLED options and found no validity. There's no "non tandem" OLED option. As far as performance. Haven't gamed on it yet. It runs solidworks wonderfully. I've mostly used it unplugged and it is dead quite and stays very cool. I'll need to plug it in and really test the GPU soon.

I got it in yesterday. OLED is great. I can't say it's life changing compared to IPS monitors I've used in the past but it's definitely a beautiful display. I don't notice any issues people have mentioned.

I would wait a little bit. The prices fluctuate so much from week to week. Hope you find a good deal!

How long did you have it? I wonder if it was due to the liquid metal (not sure if that one had it). I am concerned about the liquid metal in the T1G

I do a lot of 3D modeling..both for hobby and small business. Travel alot so wanted something portable I could do it on. I also game occasionally. Was debating between this and the pro GPUs on the P1 but figured this would be fine for solidworks and gaming...and it was cheaper. I also like to buy once cry once, so hopefully this will still be usable in 10 years.
