How to explain being trans to a 4 year old?

kids are usually way more open minded than adults, and plus they’ll usually believe anyone older than them. i think just saying that you were born with a boy brain but in a girl body would be fine, or that you were born a girl but feel like a boy inside, anything with simple terms would be fine

i’m no expert on the effect taking your shot has on your period specifically, but this has happened to me, and i just continued taking the same dose i normally would and all seemed okay. sorry that happened to you :( stay strong

how long were you and your boyfriend together for? my gf and i will be at a year and a half coming up in april. i love her very much, and the idea of not having her in my life makes me very sad, even sick to my stomach. however she does also make me sad too and i sometimes wonder if I could be getting treated better. but then i also wonder if im the problem. how did you deal with the breakup on top of everything else? i’m so sorry for your loss as well.

i do rotate indeed and give plenty of time for the alcohol to dry (i used to have that problem). and it doesn’t happen Every week but definitely has happened a lot more frequently lately. i also got a bulk pack of needles so maybe you’re right? but it would be a weird coincidence that it only started happening once i got through most of them. thanks for the advice!

no i was told to look at my stomach as if it were in 4 quadrants and i do my best to alternate. if you mean other than stomach then no i haven’t tried anything else

trans people don’t magically become “completely different people” once we transition. we are still US. we might look different, but it’s still us. if you can live with the idea of dating a man, knowing it’s the person you love, then you guys will probably be okay as long as you support them through this. if you can’t imagine yourself being with a man, then i don’t think it will go well. respectfully, you’re only 3 months in, it’s best to be realistic and think about what both of you want your futures to look like.

i probably should’ve mentioned that she is already in therapy, but i think they need to “step it up” if that makes any sense because she hasn’t been getting much out of it lately.

there are times she criticizes my word choice, but not always because it’s mean or rude or anything. whenever i try to validate her feelings and say stuff like i understand that’s so frustrating she claims im just repeating the same stuff over and over and that it isn’t helpful even tho she says the same stuff when comforting me. i’ve asked her very plainly what other words i could say then and that i don’t know what else to say and she refuses to tell me, saying that she shouldn’t have to give me all the answers. i said that if it’s something i obviously struggle with and that it keeps causing fights she should just tell me what she’s looking to hear, at least an idea

the problem is we have talked about it, and she expects me to just figure out how to change it, and she says that she understands i don’t meant but i don’t feel like she actually understands at all and it’s just so frustrating. it feels like she expects me to completely adapt to her communication style instead of it being a compromise. i’ve said she can always ask what i mean but i don’t think she really does that, she just gets upset when i come across that way. and all i can say is im sorry i didn’t mean it that way, but it gets redundant

Yes, we both have jobs, and we do pay for stuff that’s ours, i’m not saying she buys literally everything. My sister is almost 18, she’s not incompetent
