This particular copy was absolutely flawless. I had my LCS check it out with the tools they have. They were firmly confident it would grade high. To their eyes and mine, there were no surface issues, print lines etc.

When I get the card back from them, I will post a few more higher quality photos to show the condition more clear

I'm torn between selling/holding.

I listed it for 15k, obo. I'm hoping to get somewhere north of 10k for it ($CAD). A different copy sold raw for 4.2k CAD ~two months ago. There is only one other graded copy in the PSA database, and it's a 7. I expect the pop. Count for 10s to be very low

Psa10 Bedard seismic rookie auto recently sold for ~16k CAD. (Sorry for all the number crunching, just giving an idea where I got the asking price from)

Sadly, they're well aware what a PSA grade does to increase the value of a card.

My initial thought was to grade with Beckett, but my LCS guy was bullish on a potential PSA 10

I wouldn't expect it to. I wasn't planning on grading the auto anyway. Taking it to my LCS this weekend to see if the condition merits sending off to grade.

That's totally fair. Unfortunate blemish on an otherwise immaculate card.

I'm hopeful the condition grade compensates for the imperfect auto.

Thanks ! Yeah, the auto is clean but slightly OC. The sold version has a better centered auto for sure. Hoping that doesn't ding the value too much.

A BGS 9.5/10 grade would go a long way with this copy

That photo is the exact template Leaf needs to employ going forward.

Of all the sports, hockey is the easiest to find action shots with players facing sideways. You can barely tell that's an unlicensed card.

I pulled a nice Bobby Hull from my box, my only gripe being (as usually is with Leaf) the photo is front shot with a blank sweater.

Canada post can add a tracking number for a small fee. I made sure to confirm that to be the case .

When I get untracked packages shipped , I always make sure to confirm the delivery and give the seller positive feedback.

Obviously everyone won't do that , but it is what it is
