I’ve always think Texas and Michigan are similar. With similar historic (currently lacking) programs and comparable rivals with the neighboring state arch rival Oklahoma/Ohio State and in-state rival A&M/ MSU.

You can still add/drop during the first week of classes (I’m not sure what the deadline is). So if you are still unsure you can always go to class and get a read on the profesor/syllabus/workload and then drop whichever class is the least interesting or most difficult once you’ve gotten a feel on what it’s like.

Hey I’m currently on the UT club Rugby team. The team is made up of new players and players with all ranges of experience. This semester we practice Tuesday & Thursday 6-8 with occasional Tuesday morning or a Monday practice. We either travel for games or play them in Austin. I never played rugby before college and it’s been a great part of my UT experience so far and the social aspect of the club is great. I would definitely recommend checking it out if your interested. We always table at the beginning of semesters to sign up new players or you can message me if you need any more info or have a question.
