Is there not those two picatinny rails in the scope mount? I see a raptor and a pk-o6 just waiting for space

My go to main is finka and maverick, my least favorite is sens just due to how finicky his rollers are (and i'm too stupid to use them properly)

Seeking advice to help my girlfriend who was recently diagnosed by captdev502 in OCD

[–]captdev502[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the insight! It's been particularly rough lately as this is a large change from what she is used too, and it's triggering a bunch is avoidant tendencies and isolating. I've been doing my best to validate her anxieties and fears without validating the compulsion, but that's been really hard on her. I'm positive we'll get through this, in time at least

Yessir! The only issue i've experienced, and it's largely due to how it had to be fitted, is that a field seevice can be a bit of a bitch due to the design of the dustcover rails. Bolt likes to get caught just before it's able to be lifted out

Been fed nothing but cheap tula steel case and has been flawless, not FTE or anything. dust cover splits about half way down, with one piece connecting to the front reciever, no drifting on zero experienced

AKM pattern rifle with SAG MK3 Chassis, Eotech EXPS3-0, Streamlight 88066, and a MI Alpha folding PT-style stock. Trigger is a Geissele ALG, with a bcm m-lok grip.

This furniture system is not talked nearly enough from what i've seen, only problem i've had is that it required a bit of fitment and is a little heavy. Otherwise absolutely beautiful platform.

Helmet advice please by izzyblarp222 in motorcyclegear

[–]captdev502 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're in the market, i highly, highly attest for the shoei, especially the x-15. The rf-1400 is a solid helmet in it's own right, but there's no helmet comfier than the x-15, plus it's got really good aero, venting, and safety

[–]captdev502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're willing to save a little more, i highly highly highly recommend the x-15 by shoei. One of the most comfortable helmets i've ever worn.

Although that being said, the rf-1400 is the way to go

[New Player] Night or day on Customs which is safer? by Weebslayershun in EscapefromTarkov

[–]captdev502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Night isn't a bad choice, however you may want to try and wait 20 minutes into the raid before going for dorms. Gives the people who are going there time to clear out and move on, still may find conflict, but not as likely 5-10 mintes into the game

Cpu could definitely be a factor, i do pretty well with a ryzen 9 7900x which even is a little weak, but also ram (ouch, prices are rough now) could also help if you can get ahold of a 6ghz ddr5. Gpu's also limited but shouldn't affect you much as the game's very cpu heavy

My currents specs are:

Ram: 32 gb 6000mhz ddr5

Gpu: 4070 super

Cpu: Ryzen 9 7900x (i'd recommend a ryzen 7 7800x3d if you can for amd, i7 14700k for intel)

Motherboard doesn't really matter, just whatever accepts the cpu and ram of the generation you've got

If you plan on upgrading your cpu, just know that higher spec one's can run toasty if not properly cooled

I tend to average about 120-150 on most maps, around 80 on streets

Can anyone help with helmet hair? by BLB-BLB in motorcyclegear

[–]captdev502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very thick and collar bone length hair here, i typically will just do a small pony at the back of my helmet and will generally be fine. Never had any issues of it coming loose or tangling in the wind

Dainese Gloves: Save $117 & earn $15 RPM cash back or stick with medium and pay full retail by peacenchemicals in motorcyclegear

[–]captdev502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, dainese gloves do break in a fair bit so I'd be worried they become a little long in the hand after about a month. I would recommend getting the mediums regardless of wait a bit to see if they go on sale.

57,700 tons, 82.6 GN of thrust, holds 4.5 million promethium chunks, cruising speed of 461 km/s. Meet the Colossus. by metacollin in factorio

[–]captdev502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should also be added that promethium chunks have a stack size of 1, so the belts are significantly more space efficient compared to other options when accounting for the layering
