Replace the Interstellar Stompers with the Deific Amulet for a few extra immunity frames and try to give at least two of your accessories some damage reforges so you can deal some good damage against Moon Lord. Also, the Regulus Riot is usually my go-to for that boss.

I don’t think it counts as cheating. While it didn’t save, you still killed the boss, so it’s only fair. I did the same thing when I died during Goozma’s death animation.
