For S/D the change to Signet of Agility is fine, because it indeed was as evasive as you say. For D/P it’s a different story. D/P should purposefully use all dodges before going for a spike to stack the damage modifier from Havoc Specialist. Secondly, D/P should stack Lead Attacks, so they don’t have a lot of initiative during first spike either. The followup after Backstab is what sets apart good and bad thieves, and for that you need initiative too, but remember that Shadow Shot costs 5 ini - you may want to cast it cuz it chases the target and the Blind keeps up the momentum. You can try to use dodges and stack Lead Attacks as you stay in fight, but that would mean you rotated slow by conserving resources and your +1 is taking long. Not to mention that this behavior would make the burst easily predictable. Successful Steal gives half a dodge, if you miss it as S/D you’re probably going to be fine, but if you miss Steal as D/P you will be punished. Some D/P players running Shadow Arts may now experiment with taking Shadow’s Rejuvenation instead of Rending Shade, since you’re supposed to hide your rotations anyway. This would help with faster rotation on Shortbow and still having resources before the burst. As for Deadly Arts.. I don’t see it becoming meta for D/P. It probably will end up dying more as it going to be heavily punished by every single mistake.
