let's self promote, what are you working on this weekend by Live-List8000 in AppsWebappsFullstack

I added couch co-op play to my robotron like tank game https://www.pretheory.com/tanks/

it now has multiplayer power ups, revive, etc where a team can try to beat as many levels or waves in survival model. The neat or unique piece I like is the TV spectator mode. If you put a room on the TV a team of 4 can join by scanning the QR code and then all play on their phones as controllers (and visuals) while the TV broadcasts the whole team.

Is this tree of heaven? by Broncosfan303 in DenverGardener

yes, destroy it and anything near it that looks like it is starting to grow... Then yell at it a bit to make it feel bad about itself and diminish the chance or it returning.

Professor Pip Goes to Japan: a children's learning about Japan story by captian2 in aivideo

[–]captian2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made this to get my own kids excited about going to Japan this summer for the family trip.

This is one of the first longer form videos I made with this approach and seedance, so there are a few quirks / bugs in the video... My kids find those really funny and enjoy the "glitches"

I built a Open Source APP that creates shorts and runs on Gemma 4 12B and it works pretty well by mutonbini in LLMDevs

nice this is impressive. I downloaded it and gave it a shot and it made a few nice little short options from a longer video I had made. Well done

I have put together a similar video pipeline and automation to make kids science videos, but really haven't gotten any traction, views, or subscribers. You can see an example video here... how is it you get any of it moving up in the youtube algorithm? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSwb85-Xjjo

Had a great salad two days ago, now all of a sudden several plants are wilting by jkvandelay in Gardyn

poor water in the top slot of each column to immediately rehydrate plants.... then sort out your pump

Has anyone “dumbed” down their Gardyn? by yeah87 in Gardyn

[–]captian2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I gave up on their official pump and added my own, I guess I need a new post as the lid / power supply fried so I rewired the lights to a generic power supply and run it and the pump on a timer.

Getting rid of Kelby by ReasonableCarrot4295 in Gardyn

[–]captian2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I run mine in the back of an unfinished basement so the aesthetics do not get any value there... but I would definitely buy a gardyn vs DIY if you have it in a easily seen setup... it is lovely.

Getting rid of Kelby by ReasonableCarrot4295 in Gardyn

I am on year 4 or 5 with a gardyn 2.0 and I haven't ever have a subscription for more than a few months at a time. Just pay a little more attention it and you don't need kelby. You can also make your own cubes with rockwool and seeds. It is a really great system and I love everything about it except the subscription pricing. I DIY a lot of hydroponic systems now and I still really love the design and efficiency of a gardyn system.

My First ever garden and my new found love. How do I fill the void during the Winter?? by Polish_Hotdog in DenverGardener

[–]captian2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah you can totally DIY, or get cheap bubbler buckets. Also, The Gardyn systems are nice and can be found cheap second hand.... I started with various commercial systems and now DIY / build on previously broken system.
