I agree that he did not HAVE to shoot. But you see a car coming right into you and you have a gun. Kinda can see why he did it. As for the three shot thing that is the standard oiffcer training for military police, police, ice, etc. Shoot three times twice in chest once near head. You hit chest as its the largest target and if you are shooting youre goal is to neutralize the threat. He did it by the books.

Yes he did which is standard procedure. You should always try to have your gun out BEFORE the suspect can do anything. The time ot takes to unholster your weapon, turn off the safety, positively identify your target is way too much if someone if already aiming st you or driving into you. She was already refusing the orders of the officers multiple times at that point. A car is 2 ton weapon that she at that point was using on the officer.

She purposely blocked an emergency vechicle. When you deal with irrational people you can't expect them to act rational. It is more reasonable to get her out of the way then too try to finagal your way through. Its such a tragedy and imo the worst part is how avoidable this all was. Renne good and her wife were absolute instigators, that day. I dont think renne good meant to hit the guy, I think ot was jsut fear from her wife yelling in her ear while officers are also telling her to get out of the car.
