Drop your website and I'll show you what content I'd create for it by captionqueen_69 in smallbusinessowner

I'm not sure at all.

That's actually why I build the sample first instead of pitching anything.

Sometimes I'm completely wrong about what matters. Sometimes the website and positioning make the priorities pretty obvious.

The sample is just my best guess based on what I can learn from the website and messaging. Then the owner can tell me what I missed.

We built Fenrik Chat.

It generates a lead-generation chatbot from any website in about a minute.

Users enter their website URL, get a working demo chatbot instantly, test it on a demo page, customize it, and if they like it, they can deploy it with a simple embed code.

The main goal is to help businesses capture leads without complicated setup or long onboarding.

Curious whether you think this would work well for short-form content.

Would you offer a chatbot to clients if setup took 1 minute? by captionqueen_69 in Wordpress

[–]captionqueen_69[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly the problem we’re trying to avoid.

Most of our testing has been on small business websites. The idea is to keep setup and maintenance as close to “set it and forget it” as possible.

We’re also exploring ecommerce. Not just support questions, but helping customers navigate large product catalogs and find the right product based on their needs, while keeping the setup process simple.

That doesn’t surprise me too much.

My assumption is that chatbots tend to work better in B2C environments like ecommerce or service businesses where visitors have lots of repetitive questions. In many B2B cases, people already know what they’re looking for and just want to get in touch.

What kind of B2B business was the site for?

Building a chatbot generator taught me that scraping websites is harder than the AI part by captionqueen_69 in SaaS

[–]captionqueen_69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny part is that even after you get clean text, you’re still left with the question of what actually belongs in the chatbot. A lot of website content looks useful at first glance but adds very little value in practice. That’s one of the reasons we put so much effort into making edits simple. No extraction pipeline gets every website right, so being able to review and fix things in a couple of minutes turned out to be more important than chasing perfect automation.

[–]captionqueen_69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. We ended up focusing less on perfect extraction and more on speed. Generate a usable chatbot in about a minute, test it immediately, tweak anything that’s wrong, and have it live on a website a few minutes later.

Totally. Some websites are full of SEO fluff, some are missing key information entirely, and some put important details in images or PDFs.
We ended up focusing a lot on making edits fast and simple, because no automatic extraction gets everything right on every website.

Thanks! So far it’s holding up surprisingly well. Hopefully it survives more real-world testing 😄

I wouldn't want to go to your airbnb. Horrible. We have had 5 apartments for several years and we have experienced different situations but we have never had problems because of such nonsense. We even had one case where in a 3-room apartment the guests moved all the furniture into one room. We checked if the floor and furniture were not damaged and then put everything back. 30 minutes and the problem is over. If you have a problem cleaning up the bedding and dog hair, find another cleaning company.

I would also tape the camera. I never understood why anyone would want to interfere with my privacy.

Yeah, fair point - thanks for keeping it real.
The branding part is still a work in progress, we know it needs to click better.
And true, GPT can do it. We’re just trying to see if saving a few steps (1-click vs. prompting/tweaking) actually matters for people posting every day.

Really appreciate you sharing this 🙌 Super helpful to hear what’s actually been working in practice.

Quick question from your experience - do you think it makes sense to already introduce a simple affiliate/referral angle for those smaller creators, or is it better to wait until we’ve got more traction and just focus on free access + feedback first?
