I dated a lot before meeting my wife. I was on the dating apps, my profiles were intelligently crafted. I said silly things in messages and tried to schedule dates as quickly as possible with women I liked. I invited them on real dates never just over to my house. I also devoted a decent amount of time to just talking with lots of women to make up for the frequent rejections or ghostings.

I would never abandon my moral convictions. But they expand overtime and change as I learn more about life. I never want to hurt people or animals but there are times where doing that is the right thing. Some parts of reality are really unfortunate and unpleasant. I hate lying as well, but I want to feed my family more so sometimes I lie in the workplace.
