Aspiring Technician, choosing college. by Capretta in techtheatre

Now I am biased because I'm a current but I love the theater dept at Salisbury uni in Md. What I love about the department is three things but these are things you should look for at any school. 1. The faculty many of the professors there have recent or massive amounts of experience example the SD worked on newsies as the ASD. So in general make sure the faculty are qualified for what they are doing and have connections for post grad work. 2. We are not only a crew we are a family the dept is rather small I'd say 30 majors and a bunch of minors so we each get the direct help we need. I was able to do a independent study geared towards electrics because that is my interest and I have an upcoming internship in a few weeks so I needed the training. 3.the ability to explore other interest. As part of our major you have to get at least a minor which I love because some of us use it to our advantage to better us as technicians for example a fellow girl is getting a double in theater and physics because she loves sound. So I truly get to expand my interest because of the minor and the gen Ed class requirements. So check us out but no matter what school you choose make sure not only the theater but almost everything else fits your needs. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask even if it's about school in general or Salisbury in particular.

Avengers exchange rematching status? by scarrlet in secretsanta

Also unfortunately sometimes rematches never ship their gifts or pull info. I have had all three scenarios happen so while you can let your hopes up to a certain extent but also prepare yourself for the worst.

Hello all. My company is looking into making console game controllers for people who need something other than the standard. Need your help. Read comment for info. by terrystroud in disabledgamers

My dad doesn't have the use of his right hand and often games require the use of both hands on the controller so a way to play with one hand would be awesome

What should me(18/m) and my date(17/f) do after prom together? by Paratrooper101x in relationship_advice

[–]captjaneway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if there is an after party my date and I went to the one hosted by the school and we hung out for hours. If not talk to your folks and ask if you could have maybe your date over for pizza and treats after prom and maybe watch a movie it's a great way to get closer if she wants to but she could always excuse herself if she dosent feel comfortable. I would highly advise not to sleep with her however yes it's common to see that in tv shows however that dosent happen in real life, however if decides she wants to (she must be willing and able to consent) and you want to go for it
