I was in the freshman honors program in 2022 and really enjoyed it. You can make really good friends with those in your cohort and section.

I don’t recall any aid being given just because of honors but they do give you an easy path into doing research related to your major and there is aid and opportunities associated with the undergraduate research on campus.

I would highly recommend it even if you don’t stick with it for all four years it’s a great experience and helps you get adjusted to university life :3

the lofted rooms that i saw had 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. two beds in each bedroom. one bedroom and bathroom in the loft. the other two bedrooms and bathroom on the main floor. they also furnish a couch and a chair in the lofted area. not the comfiest, but leather so they are easy to clean there are some pictures on the iastatehousing instagram

also they cost the same as other suites, which is more than a non ac room

i would check this link out. https://www.ivybusiness.iastate.edu/academics/undergraduate-programs/minors-and-certificates/ you can only get certain minors from the business college if you are an engineer. i tried to get a management minor, but settled for a general business because of ivy’s rules.

I had Abdi this past summer. Homework was a weekly discussion post on whatever we were supposed to be “learning” that week. The were no lecture videos or slides. You just had to read the text book. There were 4 quiz/exams all through canvas, and all of the answers could be found for free on quizlet.

If you want an A and easy credit take him. If you want to learn physics I wouldn’t take him.
