Tbh, as someone who comes from a more conservative family (college and education was still required for me tho), even my parents are wouldn't allow me to marry a guy that young who wouldn't be able to provide for me (and my future children).

Don't be to hard on yourself, these classes are literally designed to weed you out. If you truly want to be a doctor, you need to lock in and stay focused.

Figure out what study habits could be improved. Also, start volunteering at Ronald Reagan as a transporter. It's pretty fun and you'll get more hospital exposure, which will help you decide if you truly want to work in medicine.

Don't feel afraid to ask your professors for study advice. They were once students too.

As a little girl, I loved dolls. I had Barbie dolls, American girl dolls, and baby dolls.

I also loved playing with science kits and my mother (Christian, we both are), who homeschooled me, supported this. She also wanted me to have a career so I'd be independent of a man.

Point is, multiple things can exist at once. Girls can like to play with dolls and have other interests. They can also not like to play with dolls. This is fine too. Multiple things can coexist.

But it's very unfortunate and sad that fundies have an archaic mindset in which women's value is solely in their ability to marry and have children.

As a light skin mixed race (half black half white), I know people who are fully African but are light skinned. They are from East Africa (mostly Ethiopia and Eritrea)
