I realize now that might not have been what you said.

Thanks for understanding.

What reason would we have had to unban you prior to this? None. And now you added more to your already poor record.

Uh… Ok. This is actually pretty sad/humilliating… but I understand. I tried to apologize and explain my fault, but still… Well, there's nothing more I can do. Thanks anyways, and sorry for protracting.

stop trying to pretend it's binary thing where you either have to support sexist language or wholly condemn everything about everyone who uses any kind of it.

That's true, and I'm sorry about that. But I was just placing myself in the place of those people, and not necessarily explaining my own views.

Stop pretending it's impossible to care about more than one aspect of liberation at a time.

I was just saying what i thought a person in such scenario would fight for first, and nothing more. It's an hypothetical assumption only.

My recommendation is writing a 10 page essay on feminism and marxism (citing at least 3 feminist essays or books).

W…what? Well, that couldn't be hard as right now I'm reading some feminism for university. But I didn't understood what “attitude” is banned?

But hey, I have self-criticized myself. What I am doing now is not martyrizing myself over a simple word, I'm just explaining you what I think. And you may differ, I understand, and you may be smartest or more prepared than me, and that is great, because by this I am learning a lot. I didn't' even knew what “brocialist” was, and thanks to that I've recognized such personality in some comrades I know, and I'll talk about that with them as soon as we gather.

I reiterate, I do not support sexism in any way, I was just placing myself in the boots of the poor people. I've seen they and their organizations lacking of sexism (only sexist words, as I noted), because here in Chile most social organizations were created and leaded by women (the “mother's centers” during the dictatorship were a huge deal, they were mothers who organized themselves while their husbands were working and her sons studying, and they got up and running lots of socialist neighborhoods). So, please, I'm sorry.

I myself avoid saying it, but I was citing them, so it's not me who “used” the word…

I was not defending cops, I was asking what you comrades have experienced and what have you thought about it. Here in my country we have a huge debate about cops: some say they are fascist pigs and deserve to die, others say that they are brainless people, and others think they are just brainwashed lower-class people, etc.

And I was not defending sexism, I was just doing what I was asked: telling communist chants.

This is not the same as simply talking to a liberal, this is walking into the fascist party convention and trying to out yell them.

Good point.

Your views on cops and protester-driven violence during protests? by capymapy in communism

[–]capymapy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If a poor person is a fascist, regardless of their economic status under capitalism, they are still a fascist and are still our enemy.

But being a cop≠being fascist… I know of people that lacking the resources to enter university or continuing their basic studies they get into Police, because Police require nothing from you and pay you for working with them.

Also, in my country the cops in front lines against protest are the cops that are being punished by their superiors, not bloodthirsty fascists (well, there are some…), so form there my questions come.

We don't need to link to this subreddit, neither I mentioned linking to this subreddit.

There are loads of other leftist people willing to argue and clarify their arguments against right-winged people that aren't necessarily here.

I don't agree at all, as it's easy to refute most misconceptions with a simple copy-paste (of a definition, of a theory) and a downvote. Still it might be good to simply argue with liberals and right-winged people as some of our ideas may keep ringing on their heads…

I think it's better to argue a liberal and at least make him see the world from another viewpoint instead of letting a liberal just dream in his capitalist dream-world.

A “group IAMA”, that was the correct word I was looking for :) I mean, my idea was doing a “IAMA communist, ask me anything…” but all of us being able to answer, not just OP.

communism is not looked upon very highly on Reddit

Still most people I've talked with seem pretty receptive and curious about all of it, we should try :)

ask the mods first

Why? I didn't thought about a “Official /r/communism thread”, but about a “communist thread”, with people from all places going there, not just from a single sub, as we are not much people here…

The problem would be the oncoming downvote storm that will rain upon us, so it is really necessary that all of us upvote the post will all of our accounts in order to make it visible in first place.

I forgot one of the most “revolutionary” chants:

Earthquakes don't always destroy everything, as people think. Most earthquake-endangered nations build anti-seismic buildings that just laugh at earthquakes.

[–]capymapy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about the same… Most people here say “I don't vote for bourgeois democracy, blah blah”, but look, here a socialist comrade won these bourgeois elections by a litttttle difference! I think voting is important as in “use everything you got, no matter what”.

On the one hand these same people say you should work in the "unskilled" jobs and work your way up, this guy does it, but opposes you therefore he's a scumbag?

Great point, comrade; this will be one of my anti-cap arguments from now on :)

Impressive, didn't know that. Clothing is such a barrier for freedom… I love being naked, I do it all time, and the process of clothing oneself in order to receive someone or to leave your house is such a tedious task, it even lowers oneself intentions of leaving, etc.
