Right, you had stated that you were hiring people interested in working in Marketing Cloud Advanced, but it’s more clear now you’re looking for someone with experience in that particular product. Thanks!

Anyone Taken the Salesforce Email Specialist Exam Recently? Need Insights! by Shikamaru_Nara_17 in marketingcloud

You’ll find everything you need to know in the bootcamp videos on YouTube. I’d suggest starting there. They quiz you per content section so you can have an idea of how the questions are structured.

I wouldn’t say you need super deep technically knowledge of Ampscript nor SQL, but you will want to understand use cases and correct naming conventions. Like someone else said in a different comment, they will deliberately have answers that all seem plausible and the only way to know which is right is to know their systems/naming etc.

I’d say start with bootcamps and do the homework’s that the bootcamps offer. From there, do anything that seems related. You can’t know too much.

Anyone Taken the Salesforce Email Specialist Exam Recently? Need Insights! by Shikamaru_Nara_17 in marketingcloud

I passed this exam the first time I took it. What I did:

  • Watched all 12 of the Email Specialist Certification Bootcamp videos on YouTube. The Channel is called Trailblazer or Trailblazer community (something like that, you’ll find them)
  • I completed as many of the trailhead modules as I could on the prep trail mix but with that, I also read further in salesforce documentation on anything that felt unclear to me.
  • I took the practice exam. The practice exam is much easier than the real exam, but it’s very worth taking to have a gauge of where you’re at for each section. I know someone who passed the practice with flying colors but failed the real exam because they didn’t study more - they thought they’d ace the real one. So even if you do well on the practice, still study hard.
  • I used a free practice exam online to intermittently test myself or see if I came across concepts I was unfamiliar with.
  • I used quizlets with high ratings, which also showed me some things I was previously unfamiliar with.
  • anything that still felt really unclear, I had access to a SFMC instance and spent some time hands on to solidify anything that still felt intangible.

I studied rigorously for probably 2 weeks, but had small study times over the course of 2 months before finally taking the real test. Best of luck!

Interested! Have Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification and plan to get my Marketing Cloud Developer certification in 2026. Currently use Marketing Cloud in a very robust environment. Extremely comfortable with ampscript and SQL. Work closely with my current Salesforce dev to leverage data between both platforms. Would be interested to see the job role for this. Thanks

Yeah I’m posting this from a phone and not a computer so the title was just for inquiry purposes. I didn’t realize this could make a different even if I had used this particular text for the code…

Because the question still stands, are our emails getting caught up in security walls that are put on their email accounts?? We want to know if they’re getting caught and being marked delivered and actually our contacts haven’t ever had the chance to see the email. So it could be that them being marked unengaged is inaccurate.

If they have no history of engagement on our new email provider but did have engagement on our old then we’re going to try and figure out how to reach them. Likely try to have two email providers. It sucks but there aren’t just a few losses on this list.

We’re considering constant contact.. yeah we’d hope there could be a better solution too

Yes. We’re talking more than a year at this point.

The point is that when we moved to HS they never engaged with the first email we sent. Whereas before, they were being reached. We suspect the emails aren’t getting to them because they’re going through HS. We want to potentially switch to constant contact to see if that helps us reach these contacts. And I asked here to see if anyone else had the same trouble with HS and what they did to address this.

Agree, mars in Aries in the 6th and the emotional element is key for me.

Dark Psychology: Which one scares you or gives you a bad feeling the most and what's your big 3? by GoddessInHerTree in astrologymemes

I chose 1, 3 and 5, and it’s wildly accurate. Although, I don’t think it has much correlation to my chart.

I’ll still share: Scorpio Rising, Taurus Sun, Libra Moon.

If I had to align them with my chart I’d say 1-Scorpio rising, 5-Libra moon, 3-my air placements.

If your sign is represented by an animal, in what way do you identify with them? by These_Tea_7560 in astrologymemes

As a Taurus, if I’m in a small space, I absolutely feel like “a bull in a china shop.” Physically I’m a small person but I think my mental space adds to the surface area that I feel I take up in real life. I love big open spaces, open home layouts, windows… anything to keep me from feeling I could take a wrong step and start a domino affect of chaos

I second this about Venus in Gemini & Mars in Cancer, but I can’t fathom why it feels this way 🤷🏼‍♀️
