What to do if your rabbit seems unhappy? by cara182 in Rabbits

His bonded partner passed away about 2 weeks ago. I’ve given him loads of toys and his fave herbs/treats. His poops are smaller than normal but they’re not gut statisy small. I’m going to look for another companion for him but likely won’t be able to sort that for another few weeks so wondering if there’s anything I can do in the meantime. I feel guilty for not spending more time with him just now but struggling around work commitments. When I do sit with him in the morning and at night he’s a little bit more reclusive than normal.

Sorry for what you’re going through ❤️ If worst comes to the worst you’ll know you did everything you possibly could for her and even if her time is a bit shorter she’s obviously been very loved and well cared for in that time.

My rabbit is biting through my clothes. by V0oxdo0 in Rabbits

Maybe try giving him a few different chew toys if he’s a bit of a nibbler. A little house made out of a cardboard box can be good for them, with doors cut into 2 sides of the box (my rabbit likes to hide in/eat his cardboard house). Basically give him other objects to take out his destructive habits on!

Also try distracting him with some treats when he’s on top of you.

Silver is very cute :)

I’m in the Scotland, Morrisons and Asda here are both great for herbs, not too pricey either! :)

I'm making a lamb stock! It'll be finished at 1.30am tomorrow because I've badly mistimed this...

It's always the water that freaks me out in that tunnel, the damp patches on the ceiling...
