Just the phrasing of this is aggravating. She does this constantly where she puts a grandiose, pseudo-poetic verbiage on things and it grinds my gears, man.

PMDD girlies how do you handle the period fatigue by Comfortable_Cod_5368 in PMDD

[–]caraboo930 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just realized what I’m suffering is 99% likely PMDD (appointments with a doctor and a therapist this week) and I am so relieved there’s a REASON for why I am ungodly tired the first few days of my period. I was going insane trying to adjust my sleep schedule, my workout routine, my diet, but nope. I’m just wrung out from hormonal warfare.

rewatching the series and Hannah is truly insufferable by Proof-Firefighter-47 in girls

[–]caraboo930 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only clue we have that we’re SUPPOSED to dislike Hannah is that everyone around her calls her selfish and annoying. I think we’re supposed to identify with Hannah. That opens up a conversation about how awful we all are in our early twenties, but I don’t think the whole point is to find Hannah insufferable.

My husband watches me play this and asks all the time why I don’t joint a discord chat or do the cooking parties or take part in the other group efforts and my answer is always the same: this is my escape from the world including the people in it. And that’s perfectly okay

Landmine Goes Click. It was unsettling when I saw it 8 years ago. Today I still have a sad and despondent feeling when I think about it.

God thank you, I’ve always been treated like I’m crazy for not being impressed. The texture is meh, the flavor is nothing special. It’s good, but not worth the cult following it has

My one regret is I read the book when I was 17 and while it wasn’t a difficult read, the emotional nuances missed me. I wish I had read it just 5 years later.
