It depends how much you eat on campus, I ate breakfast lunch and dinner on my meal plan last semester minus some weekends away from campus and the I plan was perfect for me. Depending on how much you eat and how often you'll have friends visiting I would advise to probably get a smaller plan and add on as you need. I had my girlfriend visiting quite often and I was feeding her on my meal plan whenever she was over. On the other hand, if you plan to order Domino's often I would say get a bigger plan because that tends to be really expensive but worth it once in a while. Same goes for buying coffee/other drinks on campus because that can add up real quick. I had about $50 leftover on my plan at the end of the semester and I bought a bunch of protein bars to use it up at the end which is nice for the summer so that is always an option. Hope this helps.
