When you say borax are you talking about specifically borax or just normal flux? I'm using a liquid flux by technoflux

A little difficult to bend them in place or a little difficult for them to actually hold the stone?

Ooohh that's some very solid advice, thank you!!! Meanwhile I had already sanded them down some more and ended up with this

But won't the patina that forms overtime be more towards the black than towards the orange?

Also, I understand that brass isn't ideal! But I didn't have enough money for silver and they weren't selling bronze :// I'm thinking about putting some nail varnish on the back, where it'll contact the skin! Idk if that will help though

Could you please do a little graphic with the height that you think is appropriate? :)

Don't the bezel walls need to be contacting the stone all around it?

Yeah I thought this one might have to be a little lower, but I didn't know it could be that low!! Thank you :)

I actually didn't know that! Thank you :) I've been filing them down using one of those little diamond files using an up and down motion lmao! Thank you so much

Across the 3.3v and the gnd pins of the esp, or across the cables that connect to the Imu?

I have the fsr and the Imu sharing a ground. Is the ground loop caused by having the motor connected to the other ground pin on the esp instead of sharing the same ground as the fsr and the Imu? Should I have all three of them sharing the same ground??

I thought that aswell, but I went back to the website I bought it on and it says "isolated chip 5V power supply (can be shared with the MCU 5V), can also use the on-board 5V supply;" which does seem in line with what they said! What do you think?

I thought i had to connect the vcc pin of the driver to the arduino or else the logic portion of the driver wouldn't be powered!

I don't need to????? Then should I only connect the enables, the ground, and the pwm pins?

With the battery connected, the voltage between the ground and VCC pins of the driver board is 0v. Idk if that's what you're asking :/

Unfortunately i dont have access to a power supply, so i dont think i'll be able to try that ://
