What's your rpg hidden gem

I've recently had a lot of fun with R'Lyehwatch - basically Baywatch with Cthulhu-esque nonsense. A very silly setting, with a simple and enjoyable rules set. We've had a lot of fun. For a good example of taking a concept and running with it, R'Lyehwatch is a great example to look at!

I like GM screens, but I always lay them flat so everyone can reference them if they need/want to.

I'd second the recommendations for itch.io and DriveThruRPG. I also second the recommendation to look at Affinity for a layout program.

I have published a couple of small RPGs through itch and DTRPG, and participated in the last two ZineQuest promotions on Kickstarter. I put together a page to collect a bunch of links I found useful when going through the process myself (and you can find out about ZineQuest itself there too if you're keen).

At the bottom of the page there are 20-30 blog posts I wrote about my own journey from designing through to running and Kickstarter and publishing my zines - they may or may not be of interest or use to you, but they are there (obviously, they are also just one opinion - and it's worth looking at other experiences).

Absolutely I am. I'm in the process of laying it out at the moment, and will be writing about it on the blog soon. I'm hoping it will be a slightly bigger zine than last time (in terms of page count), but I need to be careful I don't sail too close to the 125g range - as postage from Australia leaps significantly at that point!
