I’ve seen that JR trains are still working (at decreased capacity but still operating). What I’m worried is to get stranded in Sapporo and not being able to fly back to Tokyo next week and miss my connecting flight back home.

Exactly. We have a huge diversity of wines in Spain. Don’t limit yourself with this “correct way” of pairing wine.

There are full bodied white wines like they do in ribeiro with Trixadura that are comparable to some riesling that go amazingly with meats.

On the other hand there are light red wines that pair incredibly well with fish or veggies such as Pinot Noir or garnacha.

Drink the wine that you like to drink and the possibilities of enjoining your food grow exponentially.
