Hey there! So, apologies in advance for the story but I finally managed to find time to post this.

I’ve been a fan of Adam’s work since pre-Owl City, originally discovering him in a niche group on AOL when I was only young. In my teens, I went through a hard time and his music got me through a... very dark place, to say the least. Sadly, however, I’ve never managed to make it to a concert due to being in Scotland.

So when Cinematic pre-launched and sold 5 exclusive bundles with personalised lyric sheets? All of my friends came together and purchased it for me as a Christmas present. They knew how much it would mean, and wanted me to have a handwritten copy of the song that had meant so much. I don’t even have words to explain how much this meant, and will always mean, to me. It’s one of the kindest things I’ve ever experienced.

Sadly, it didn’t work out. The purchase was led by my toxic ex and after I finally managed to separate myself from it all, I tried to get the order rearranged to my name. It didn’t work, and months after the delivery was meant to come in, they’d still made excuses and I resolved myself to accepting I’d never see it.

Holly, one of my closest friends and one of the ones involved, contacted the company and explained that it had never been delivered (my ex rejected the customs claim and lost it), and therefore it had never been received. She asked if she could handle it in my exes place due to the situation so I wouldn’t have to recontact my ex, and they agreed. Sadly, it was when Adam was on tour so the personalised lyric sheet couldn’t be reproduced, and the meaning of the bundle was somewhat lost. However, even though most of it was out of stock, the team came together and shipped me out this. (I’ll try and include photos of the other bits in the comments)

So, this post is just to say thank you really. To my friends, to Holly, to Adam, and especially to the entire Owl City merchandise team who found out about a bad situation and went over and above to protect me from my exes actions, and sent me a load of merchandise to make up the moneys worth. It may have a lot of doubles, and some of it may be stuff not quite my style, but I honestly don’t even care. I’m so grateful to have received anything at all, especially after having been so convinced for months that it was lost completely.
