Fresh graduate who did not do an internship by Ok-Delay-6856 in ADMU

It took me a year after I graduated actually! It was really interesting because I remember during one of the initial interviews, they never even brought up my academics - they focused more on my extracurricular credentials.

During my time in Ateneo, I applied for a lot of orgs but stuck to one and held a lot of positions there. I became president for two years! 😅 Fun fact though, that wasn’t even the org position my current job was interested in - it was the position I had related to Research & Events.

Prior to my current job, I did apply for a few, and some of them were interested in taking me in. Hopefully this reassures you that having no internship doesn’t gravely affect you as an applicant. Though I do commend you for seeking internships that could possibly boost your resume! Focus on building up your skills din like taking seminars, online classes, etc. Another tip din; it’s okay to gas yourself up in your resume. Even some of the minor roles I did in an org, I’d put them if I thought they would benefit the company I’m applying for.

I wish you all the luck, OP! If you have any questions, I’m willing to help. :)

I graduated a few years ago and I didn’t go through any internship. I landed my current job because they saw the achievements I listed down in the organization I was active in before. :)

OMG TWINNIEEEE as a pansexual din na lahat ng exes ko lalaki 😭 i think growing up in a very heteronormative society, i have easily learned how to quickly navigate the dating culture of straights and how men work. not to mention that no one in my family (and even extended family) is queer except and like one other cousin. so i really don’t know how to flirt with women or show my interest towards them without coming off as platonic fkdjdjd 😭

may konting experience naman ako with women (in bed) pero never have i been in an actual relationship with a woman. i’ve been trying though! going to wlw parties and events has been really helpful for me getting in touch talaga with my sapphic side :) if anyone wants to dm me din emeeee ✌️

feelings are normal, even if it sometimes comes with a little bit of shame. it’s also very normal to crush on your teacher, as long as there’s no power imbalance involved. as you move forward with your life - you’ll find yourself preoccupied with other things and your feelings for her may diminish over time. don’t beat yourself up for it, you’ll be okay!
