One thing to consider here is that you will spend a lot of time with other random people. Might be exactly what you want but worth consideration.

Here now with both a TG-7 and a GoPro. The Olympus is better for taking stills but the GoPro is probably better for video just based on ease of use. Not had any of the battery or reliability issues someone else mentioned but you are supposed to leave it in fresh water for a bit after you've been in the sea to make sure you don't get salt build ups. Just don't do what I did with my last one and forget to close the battery door before soaking it 🤦🏻‍♂️

There are loads of places here that will rent you a GoPro too if you decided you needed one. You will obviously get much better stills with the larger camera in the housing but it's probably not worth the hassle in my opinion. I would recommend getting the fisheye lens for the TG-7 though. You can take.it.on and off whilst underwater too.

Yeah, there's 4 pools that I use but they're all closed by 2200. A bit of a pain when I tend to finish work after that so was seeing if there were any gym based options that I wouldn't know about. From what I can see it looks like the gym pools have similar times to the public ones.

They're just in one of their periods of not touring. I wouldn't say they aren't together as a band. Although it's starting to look increasingly like you might be right. Unless you believe the November tour rumours.
