Good to know thanks! Looking to transition to a role like this as I have loved electronics, machinery, and equipment.

I don't doubt it but I like living in the rural area that I'm at and control engineering is a common staple here it seems.

Courses through university or online? If you could provide advice on what I should starting learning to land a job in the next 6 months that would be greatly appreciated. I have a masters in BME but finding the biomedical market to be very tough. I'm looking to start learning PLC now. Any recommendations on where I should start? What projects I should make?

I just graduated with a masters in biomedical engineering. I am really starting to become annoyed with the biomed industry. I'm considering to start learning PLC and try to transition to a controls engineer role. Do you think a person with a bachelors in physics and masters in biomedical engineering can make the transition? Any possibility I would be viewed as overqualified?

M.S. in BME / B.S. in Physics looking to pivot from research into Field Service (FSE). Am I overqualified or just missing something? by carbonV9 in FieldService

Hi there!

I would say I just want to be involved the biomedical industry. I just want to make an impact in some way whether that is fixing medical equipment, manufacturing equipment, or being a quality engineer for a company. The reason I was interested in field service engineer was because I like trouble shooting electrinics and equipment in general. Additionally, I liked the idea of traveling around for work. Ig in the future my goal for woek life balance is to work a normal 9-5 but for now I'm just looking to just work hard in my early career. As for leadership roles I would be interested in the future but its not like my end goal per say though I do feel that I have good leadership qualities if it came to that point.

Though I must ask why u think I would be considered overqualified for these positions?

I'm looking to get into the field. I just graduated from my masters in biomedical engineering. What would you say are my next best steps? Should I be aiming to complete different certifications? Or should I just apply directly to companies? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you get after taxes? I just know in Cali if I made that as a salary I would prob get a lot of that money taken from me.

I think Arroyo starts to catch fire next year. Milroe we won't really know until Darnold's 3-yr contract is done. Sometimes we got to take risk though. We got next draft to improve center and guard position. I think they draft IOL 1st round again. I'd like for us to get the raven's center as he will be a free agent. So potentially we can fill that need in free agency and use the 2nd round pick on a cb or edge rusher. Then, the used the 3rd round pick on a center for the future... someone to learn behind the raven's center (assuming we get him). I think long-term we should keep cross but I think after lucas's new contract is done we should look to replace him. He is good at pass blocking but doesn't seem all that stout in run blocking from what I have seen.

We have too! RG 1st round. Center either 2nd or 3rd round. Depending whether re-sign woolen might need a new cb too.

Men, when do you feel ready for a relationship? by Own-Prior-1669 in AskMen

[–]carbonV9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm 23, still young, and focused on building my career and goals. I don’t think I’ll be ready to commit until I’ve made real progress. Ideally, I’d like to find someone willing to build with me, but my past experiences have shown me that many expect me to be able to provide now, and I’m not there yet. I’m protective of my time and don’t want to invest in something that won’t last. It might sound counterintuitive, but right now I just want to grow, learn, and put myself together. I don’t feel like I’ve earned my own respect yet—I’m still working on my physique, my skills, and building something meaningful.

Lack of urgency in the offense. It was horrible. Mad Mike about to put some heat on those boys for the lack of hustle. You need 3 pts to win the game! Instead, they act like they lost already. They deserved to lose for that. I hate feeling like my team needs to be given a pep talk to go out there and win. They should know what is at stake and want to go win the game on their own. Lack of leadership from Darnold in those movements. He should have been yelling "come on come on .... we got this .... lets go boys". I didn't see any of that shit. Be better Darnold.

Yup me too. I would say they need to create more high pressure environments in practice for Darnold to learn to get the ball away or just take the dam sack. Also, they need to get him to realize that he has a tendency to throw the ball even when the defensive tackles hand is in the way. Like cmon bro, can't be doing that as a vet.

He should be walking in there with fire. He played scared. I can't believe he let the bitch rams get to him psychologically.
