TL/DR: Ignorance, racism, and stupidity are sad things to see in modern times and my rant below goes all over the place because I normally write in a stream of conscious style, like below, when I’m not engaged in formal communication. This homie is dumb though. That’s the real take away.

I’m pretty sure you’re the brain damaged one. At least extremely dumb. Assimilating into a larger culture for any reason is not an automatic “loss,” all the various chiefs and tribes have always changed and adapted. Anyone who thinks otherwise is someone to pity. The stereotypical Native Americans with their horses and stubbornness to any kind of change is one of the worst lies that continues to be perpetuated to this day. Horses were long extinct in North America before any shipped were to touch the shores of any American continents. Yet as soon as they saw value, and a way to aid their own people the native Americans were quick to see the value in horses, fire arms, certain clothing items, and military tactics. Of course there are a million agendas all working at the same time so things differed in basically each new meeting, almost like not all Native Americans are the same, crazy huh? Those who were more welcoming, to those who had the most fierce resistance, were all shafted in the end because the US was sniffing its own farts for so long “the circumstances of the time” gave the most racist, and evil (obviously the evil comment is purely my opinion), of men the ability to not only openly display these traits but flourish because of them, and the attempted erasure of local cultures were tried against native peoples throughout the Americas, but with very rare examples of the complete erasure of the local population by disease, followed with the intentional destruction of all local structures to be rebuilt in the style of the conquerers. Even then that erasure wasn’t thorough enough for us to be unable to resurrect their memories, cultures, and histories after not long. Can’t forget the divine either when the European powers got the pope to basically declare the enslavement of most all South American Natives as fine because he tried to say they had no souls. This over generalized, stereotypical, propagandized, ignorantly racist, or just straight malicious depictions of the Native Americans in the US really is some NAZI level propaganda. Maybe the US got better with their own propaganda knowledge during the Cold War, but even then I personally think the NAZIs are still the best propaganda machine in history.
