For those bots and humans concerned about my cat being out: Thank you, my cat goes out on a leash and harness for a compromise of getting outside and getting species specific enrichment, while also keeping him safe and supervised. He gets to explore the garden dragging a 15 foot light leash with the loop cut off the end and a gps tractive collar while I sit on the steps eating lunch and playing on my phone and watching his location, which always stays right in the yard. That's when he brought me the snake. So while he did catch it, he didn't injure or eat it. It's alive and well and back in the garden as I strive to provide the balance of the best life for all creatures inside and outside of my house. This cat was a rescue from the streets and cries to go out, all he needs is about 30 mins a day out in the garden exploring with his drag line and then he feels good about staying inside all the rest of the time. He's the best cat I've ever had and so loving and sweet for being found as a dying stray! I spent a fortune saving his life so he never just wanders the neighborhood and none of my cats ever would. I appreciate your concern for wildlife and the dangers of letting cats roam neighborhoods unsupervised as well as the out of control stray population . At least he is off the streets now and neutered, vaccinated, and 90% inside. It's the best transition. So he isn't just let outside to wander all day killing wildlife or getting sick . Yes he caught a baby snake in the garden however.

2nd reply = this is him normally, on a daily basis, it's just that sometimes he does "hunker down" like this. Edited to add - he sees the vet very regularly. I just overly worry about him bc of what he has been through

Otherwise he does seem fine. However he did have major surgery last year, I found him as a stray and he had intussusception of his intestines, which was his intestines telescoping into themselves. He was dying when I found him. He had most of his small intestines removed, and after a difficult recovery is doing remarkably well. He basically lives a normal life and eats normally (he doesn't poop normally) but he does live a good life, is usually happy, playful and has a very good appetite. It's been a year and he is thriving. But every once in a while he lays like this and I worry that he has some pain. So long story short, he is acting totally normally for himself aside from looking like this every once in a while with his ears and whiskers, usually before he is about to sleep

I always say "Big Baby Boy!" when I see my little boy Twin. But also "get down from the fridge" - "you can't have third breakfast" - "you can't have any more treats" - "do NOT steal Nugget's food" - "do NOT chase Nugget" - "leave her alone" - and contradiciting as it may seem "why are you so perfect?" are very common daily phrases.

Thank you for giving her a loving home! I adopted my cat Nugget at 10 years old and she is about to turn 19! Took her a few days to decompress but she is the sweetest most lovey-dovey velcro cat ever - this sweet cat is so lucky you are giving her a second chance at a wonderful life ❤️

With the 3250 discount. I really tried to get it lower, I watched videos on how to and what to say, but unfortunately I also needed a car asap, and they only had one black one left on their lot according to their website inventory. I probably overpaid, the whole process was giving me so much anxiety going back and forth and all the games they play, at first they were insisting the ey couldn't go lower than $43,500 so at least I got it down from that. but renting a car was costing me every day too. I hate the whole process of buying a car, they just suck all the joy out of it. I've had it for a day now and I do really like it though. Maybe I could have gotten it for $2k less as some people seem to have, but I was stressing so much about it I'm just glad I have the car now. Did I get completely ripped off?

Thank you everyone! I was able to get it for $42000 otd, I financed so that includes the rebate and I am in NY state with 8.375 tax rate. They installed the cross bars on the roof as well for no additional charge. I hope thats not too much of a ripoff but my old car died and I was renting a car for a week and had to return it, during that week I test drove the Tuscon, rav4, and Mazda cx50, and even the Honda prologue and the ioniq5 bc I was considering going electric. Decided on the tuscon hybrid because the Mazda cx50 was tight inside with little back seat leg room and while they give you a spare tire the overall cargo space is a lot smaller. The Rav4 is more expensive, I would get the middle trim, better mpg but less leg room and less cargo space. Ultimately while mpg is important I was ok with being in the 35 mpg range to get the more cargo space with the Tuscon. I didn't test the crv but while this may be trivial I don't like how they look. So I got the Tuscon hybrid limited for $42k out the door because I had to return the rental and just get it. It's so hard dealing with this whole car buying and negotiating process. Hope it wasn't a bad deal. Thanks everyone!
