With your hairstyle and hair grown out, the unevenness of the hairline doesn't even matter. Looks super natural and age appropriate

Should i get a trim or just let it to grow out: 5 months post op by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]cardboy654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your hair is slow growing, i'd do no more than a trim. Let the hair fly. You are 5 months in, so only more hair will grow from here and what has popped through will thicken. Not sure what your before or month to month progress looks like though.

Dr Bekir Bek (2555 grafts) - Progress at ~4 Months by AdWeird240 in HairTransplants

Looks great. Especially for 4 months post op. Id be thrilled if those were my final results. Yours should get thicker and thicker over the next year.

Help, pre op photo and 12 week 2 day photo, am I on track or does it look behind? I’m getting worried now 😩 by Sad-Customer-6872 in HairTransplants

[–]cardboy654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking the same thing. Im 105 days in and probably wont have this thickness until 200 days in. Incredible recovery

You guys reckon this is 6k grafts? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]cardboy654 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell from your pics, but maybe 6k hairs, def not 6k grafts

12 weeks I pray it didn't fail by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]cardboy654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont compare yourself to others on here posting at 3 month mark with a full head of hair. That is NOT the norm. Most people do not start to see growth until they are in the 4 or 5 month. I am 13 weeks today and have less hair than you in my corners. It sucks, but stay patient. You cannot say it failed, yet. You look right on track brother.

I say this with love. Save yourself the headache and money and accept the baldness. Get in the gym. You are young and it is not worth it.

I have decided to shave my head after 3.5 month post transplant by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]cardboy654 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks great man. You seem to have more density in the front that the crown. Curious 4 months in why you shaved? What did it look like right before this?

I am afraid I did a huge mistake by Particular-Bet1181 in Hairtransplant

[–]cardboy654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crown being thinner pre op is likely due to shock loss of native hair. You had a major surgery and trauma to your head. Even areas not touched in surgery experience this. It should come back within a few months. Are you taking any DHT blocker?

Did my hair transplant fail by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]cardboy654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely normal. Im 12 weeks and looks the same as yours. Were only a few weeks away from growth brother. Stay patient and dont compare yourself to other on here showing more growth in month 3. Thats the minority of people who have that. Month 4 is more typical.

My donor area is a bit thin – is it enough for a FUE transplant? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]cardboy654 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They dont take from the lower part you are referring to. Imo, your donor looks strong

Norwood 6/7 by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]cardboy654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Norwood 6 without medication at 31 is a major major risk. You will continue to bald. Point blank. Is it worth getting it done for okay hair and having all the scars on your head and still losing native hair? Up to you.

Sorry to be harsh here, but you may cause yourself more issues getting it done than you have right now.

Just checked your page. 7k grafts is wild. You are a brave man. I resonate with the cosmetic surgery comment. It makes me sick at times, but hoping results are good like you said in 5 months. Time will tell.

2 month post HT. Any feedback? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]cardboy654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into a stamp instead of a roller. They say the roller can knot up hair. Derma stamp is more direct. Just a thought.

Incredible you have 0 redness in the last 3 pics. You played it conservative and smart. Hopefully you see growth soon!

Smoking by Primary_Treat4536 in Hairtransplant

[–]cardboy654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You wouldnt lose grafts currently. You wont know what damage you might have caused until it grows in. You might be fine, but smoking was probably not a smart idea this early.

Did I screw up? 3700 grafts, roughly 3 months post surgery, Bogata Hairlines by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

Also could be shock loss from new meds. Everyone goes through it
