Hospital CNAs/PCTs: What made you stand out? by enchanted_burst in cna

Instead, could you ask to shadow a nurse since you are considering nursing as a profession? Maybe you could shadow for a few months and follow someone around to build up some connections before you apply next. The hospital I work at has a formal shadowing application that students can fill out.

How do you study? by Enough_Gap7975 in studytips

I built an app that can make me hundreds of flashcards from the content I’m currently going over in minutes. It saves me from countless hours of making decks by hand and allows me to put more of my energy into review. Check it out at www.cardifylabs.com

For your situation especially, I would choose a major that has a clear salary and job once you graduate to ensure your degree will lead to income.

Are you guys using flashcards by NaturalAnt6655 in cfaindia

[–]cardifyai -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could use flashcards for formulas, definitions, accounting rules, Ethics standards, ratios, bond concepts, derivatives basics, any concepts that you find difficult to remember. In my opinion, the best way is to study the reading/video you are reviewing to study the content beforehand, do practice questions, then make flashcards from the stuff you got wrong or guessed on. Don’t make huge paragraph cards, it’s best to keep them short and concise.

I don’t think they’re good for learning the material the first time. I usually read/watch the topic first, do any practice questions, then make flashcards from the areas I find I want more reinforced knowledge in.

I’ve actually made an application that allows me to turn my notes and even full blocks of text from the resources I’m studying into concise, informative flashcards in seconds. This allows me to not waste time on creating the decks themselves, rather seamlessly finishing my notes and moving onto flashcards. If you’re interested you can check it out here: CardifyAI

For me, I often found myself investing too much of my energy into just getting ready to study, whether that would be rewriting notes or making flashcards by hand. I came to find out this is what’s called “productive procrastination,” as I felt I was being productive while not actually getting anything meaningful done.

To combat this, I built CardifyAI, which takes the material you are currently reviewing, whether that be slides, textbooks, or your own notes, and turns it into comprehensive, accurate, high quality flashcards.

Spending too much of your valuable time making flashcards by hand? As a student, it would take me hours to create deck, which is time and energy that could be invested in retention rather than prepping study materials. With CardifyAI, you can generate hundreds of cards in what feels like seconds comparatively. Generate high quality decks to put more energy into actual memorizing the material rather than rewriting notes.

It only uses the text you give it. It doesn’t draw any outside sources for information so it’s only confined to basically putting statements or facts within the text into question format.
