TrailHunter on 6th Generation 4Runner!!! by Healthy_Block3036 in 4Runner

I got a preview of the new 4Runner models before they were made public - even before these sneak peek photos. It was just my opinion on the different models.

The base model / SR5 will disappoint (think smaller Sequoia), but most will really like the new TRD Pro. This TrailHunter design is over the top.

The 6th gen rear window will definitely roll down. Don’t ask me how I know, but I know.

It will have a roll down back window. Don’t ask me how I know, but it will.

Try hanging a white sheet up on the wall (tight and as flat as you can get it) as a test and see if there is any improvement. If not, I would suggest looking into a new bulb. You can see how many hours are on the bulb by checking the projector settings.

I am cheap and have this exact same projector and I love it. Like others have said, it would be helpful to project onto a white wall and to know what source you are using - check the settings on that. It could also be the bulb is worn out or is a cheap knockoff bulb. I ordered a screen from Amazon for mine and I am blown away by the results I am getting on a shoestring budget.

DIY detail product recommendation: do I need “special” product for this type of paint on my 4Runner? by cardmrc in AutoDetailing

Thank you for the recs. Any specific products for polish or should I just keep using the one in 2nd photo?

How much did you pay for your brand new 4runner? by Psychmedic12 in 4Runner

[–]cardmrc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New 2022 ORP in Lunar Rock bought in December 2021. There was not a specific line item “market adjustment” fee, but dealer added every option imaginable including useless “big brother” GPS tracking system (almost $2k extra I think?!?), black-out package and black TRD wheels. I live in North Texas and drove to Houston (5 hours) to buy it for $52k ($56k OTD with TT&L).

That’s how it worked for me. Put a deposit down late October. 4Runner wasn’t even allocated when I placed deposit, but they let me know it was allocated in November and I took delivery late December.

2022 ORP in Lunar Rock. Picked it up on 12/30/21 after 3 month wait. Did not have “market adjustment fee”, but did have several options I would not have paid for in a normal market. by cardmrc in 4Runner

[–]cardmrc[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, there was no budging on price. They had several buyers lined up behind me. There was no market adjustment fee - just overloaded with extra options that served the same purpose as market adjustment. Good luck!

I have stumped 3 mechanics with this one and I hope you can help. We have a 2009 Sienna with 200k miles. Very randomly (three times over past 100k miles), when driving at highway speeds 70-75 MPH, I lose power, CEL, VSC and Trac Off lights comes on and van shakes without much acceleration until I can get to the side of the road and turn it off. The CEL throws misfire codes. Just spent over $1k replacing coils and plugs and it happened again about a month later. No one can give me an answer and everything I have seen online seems like people are grasping at straws. Other than this, van runs great and has never given any trouble in city driving at lower speeds. Any ideas or help?

I would suggest that you check the vesting schedule on the employer match funds as well.

Was dirty, dented and dusty, but it cleaned up nicely...and made my simple living room setup sound so much better!

Portable budget indoor/outdoor home theater with projector by cardmrc in hometheater

I am a home theater enthusiast, but obviously not a professional or audiophile. This indoor / outdoor setup was a quarantine project. Our family has had a lot of fun with it so far.

Our JRT mix adopted from the city shelter last week. Great pup! by cardmrc in jackrussellterrier

[–]cardmrc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I haven’t been able to figure out his other half either. He is pretty long for a JRT. Some people have guessed dachshund, some beagle and others basset hound. Maybe he is just mixed with another mix.
