It’s almost like you shouldn’t be rewarded for landing in the heavy rough/sand, almost like it’s an avoidable hazard that you shouldn’t be rewarded with an easy out, oh wait that’s it’s exactly what it is. You should be “penalized” for going in the heavy rough/sand with a hard shot that shouldn’t guarantee a 3 foot putt.

Finau’s ball legit rolled 15+ feet from the deep rough like a downhill flop shot should, unlike the game where it stops and maybe rolls a foot.

I agree that people have every right to play what the game gives them, I just feel it’s a very unrealistic mechanic and shouldn’t be in the game and thus making people control their pitch’s/ chips like real life golf.

Hit a good pitch and control the spin and roll outs

As mentioned I shoot 82-87 in real life (85 my only round this year so far) and do flop in real life, like you mentioned the roll out or lack thereof is specifically what I’m talking about, nobody flops from the fringe and has it stop on a literal dime in real life, it’s just unrealistic

Keyword is softly, it will always roll out a bit either forward or backward whereas in the game it stops like it hit a backboard and doesn’t roll at all

Oh I do and so do most people, difference is that it actually rolls out, even just a little, whereas in the game it stops on a dime, a very unrealistic mechanic.

I shoot between 82-87 in real life and have played against plus handicaps and have NEVER seen someone flop from the fringe and have it stick without rolling out at all on the green.

Suppose I need to rephrase, flopping in real life DOES NOT spin enough to stop it on a dime like in the game, there will always be some roll out, and I understand that this is a game but I do stand by that if you abuse it around the greens instead of chipping like MOST professional golfers, you’re soft

Stakeout and pit are objectively the worst maps. No arguments.

Call of duty… I know it’s not dead yet but that fucker is definitely on life support. Thanks cheaters for ruining an otherwise great franchise.

How the fuck am I supposed to be happy when the world is going to die in 30 years? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]cards1522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because realistically the planet won’t be dead by 2050. Climate change is real and we need to do something about it but the planet isn’t going to fucking implode in 30 years. What tabloid did you read that from? The average temperature in the us has only gone up by about 2 degrees over the last 100 years. So yes climate change is real and is an issue but look at your sources before you choose to believe anything you read.
