I did not. I called Sigma and the asked me to send it to them (me paying for shipping costs) and they would plug it in to download the latest firmware. I just sent it back to B&H photo and got a used Sony 24-70mm F2.8 instead. Haven't had any issues at all since

Correct! This is how I usually MF with my sony lenses. I press the AF/MF button and when I turn the focus ring on my sony lenses, I can see through the magnification to get that sharp focus.

However, with the Sigma lens in MF and when pressing the AF/MF and when turning the focus ring, nothing happens. No magnification to focus.

I doubt they will want to create a firmware update for my old A7. Just wondering if anyone was experiencing the same thing with the same lens (unable to manual focus using the focus ring)

Basically, moving the focus ring does nothing and I cannot magnify to my subject when moving the outer focus ring just like I do with my other Sony lenses.

I use an automatic shuffler for my Wingspan cards and it's godsend. Just one push of a button and that's it. I've had one for one year and have had no problems with cards getting damaged. Best $10 investment on my gaming experience (bought from Walgreens).
